Premise:
SpongeBob SquarePants features the nonsensical
adventures of SpongeBob, an incurably optimistic and earnest sea sponge,
and his undersea friends. SpongeBob lives in a two-story pineapple in
Bikini Bottom. Whether searching for the ultimate spatula to perfect his
burger flipping technique at the Krusty Krab, or catching jellyfish
with his best friend Patrick, SpongeBob’s good intentions and
overzealous approach to life usually create chaos in his underwater
world.
Characters:
The cartoon also includes SpongeBob’s diverse group of
friends. His best friend is Patrick, a pink starfish. He also has a
grumpy neighbor named Squidward and a penny-pinching boss named
Mr. Krabs. His pet snail, Gary, also lives at the pineapple with
SpongeBob.
